This service has been revised and enhanced and now has clearer metrics with identified cost impacts. This service meets a basic need for any K-12 district that transports children in today’s world. It will provide information on topics from fleet metrics to efficiency to key operational and cost benchmarking data.
Transportation expenses can add up quickly when you consider that a typical district travels about 100 miles per year for each enrolled student and is only reimbursed by the State for a fraction of that cost. For the current study, we will be looking at the 2023-2024 actual results from member districts. Districts can begin signing up on July 1st, 2024.
