Texas Maintenance and Operations Benchmarking Study
This study focuses on all Maintenance and Operations. Comparisons will be made across over 50 different parameters providing in depth metrics. Parameters include salary and wage information, use of technology, staffing levels, use of contractors, materials, energy management, and more. The study includes the following areas and activities:
- Building Maintenance
- Custodial Operations
- Temperature Control and Energy Utilization
- Water and Waste
- M+O Administration
Timing:
- Districts can begin enrolling for the Fall 2026 study on July 1st, 2026
- Other timing and deadlines for data and payment are included in the agreement for services.
- Results will be available in April 2027.
